Who we support

Scholarships designed for Southwest Washington women

Our scholarships are for women in Southwest Washington—whether you're in Vancouver, Longview, Camas, or anywhere in Clark, Cowlitz, or Skamania County—who are ready to invest in their education and future.

We support both full-time and part-time students, because we know that education doesn't always follow a traditional path. Life happens. Families need you. Bills need paying. We get it.

You are our priority if you're:

A single mother
You're raising kids, managing a household, and still finding time to pursue your education. That's not easy—and it's exactly why we want to support you. Woman of Wonder gives preference to single mothers who are determined to create better opportunities for themselves and their families.

A woman raised by a single parent
Growing up in a single-parent household taught you resilience, resourcefulness, and grit. We prioritize women who understand what it means to overcome obstacles, because you’ve done it your whole life.

Independently supporting yourself
No safety net. No financial backup. Just you, your determination, and your dreams. We give preference to women who are making their own way—because we know how hard you're working.

Sisters Fund

The Sisters Fund is designed to support women who have experienced domestic violence and are striving to complete their education.

Drawing from their own traumatic childhood, the two sisters who started this fund hope to shift the balance toward healing, empowerment, and grace for women and children affected by domestic violence.

Together with Woman of Wonder we look to empower women to break free from cycles of violence and build independent, secure futures.

If you would like to apply for this scholarship, simply share your experience on your application.

Scholarship applications are accepted January thru the first week in April.
