Juneteenth: diversity, equity and inclusion. The best is yet to come.

Honor each other’s perspectives.

June provides a time of celebration, reflection, and connection as we honor the unique perspectives and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community and mark the end of slavery in the United States.

For us, diversity, equity, and inclusion steps are not exclusive to one month. Our commitment is ongoing.

Everyday.

We remain dedicated to providing support that strengthens and empowers the women who live and work in the communities of Washington state.

And to recognize the importance of the end of slavery in America and the need that we feel intensely to support social justice, our office will be closed on Monday, Juneteenth for reflection.

Take a moment.

As you go through your day, take a moment to reflect on what was, what is, and is yet to come, for you, your family, and your future. Because, as BTS sings, "your “best is what comes next.
