June 18: A day of protest, policy, and beginnings

June 18, 2018 marked a turning point in U.S. history, as outrage over the Trump administration’s family separation policy gripped the nation. While leaders in Washington, D.C. demanded accountability, and local law enforcement worked to align with civil rights protections, a new initiative quietly took root in Clark County. Woman of Wonder was founded with a mission to uplift women through education—empowering moms, single-parent daughters, and women striving on their own.

In that moment, when the administration's "zero-tolerance" immigration policy led to the separation of thousands of children from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border and severed a mother’s right to protect her children, we chose action.

We chose to support moms.

Since that founding day in 2018, Woman of Wonder has committed to helping women, partnering with our community to wield education as our superpower.

Partner with us to educate working moms, women raised by a single parent, and women striving on their own to complete college degrees.

Education is our superpower.

Wield your superpower.
