Here's the deal
Starting a business sounds terrifying. There's paperwork. Legal stuff. Money questions. The whole "what if I fail spectacularly and have to explain this to my family at Thanksgiving" thing.
But here's what nobody tells you: Washington State has created an entire ecosystem designed to hold your hand through this journey. It's called StartUP 365, and it's basically like having a business mentor, a college course, and a really smart friend all rolled into one gorgeous website.
Over the next six weeks, we're breaking down everything you need to know to take your idea from "wine-fueled dream" to "actual legitimate business." No MBA required. No boring jargon. Just real talk about real resources that real women are using right now to build their empires (or side hustles, or brick-and-mortar shops, or whatever makes your entrepreneurial heart sing).
What you're going to learn in this series
Week 1: You're reading it – This is your welcome to the series.
Week 2: From daydream to game plan – So you have an idea. Cool. But is it actually viable? We'll show you how to find out without spending a dime or quitting your day job. (Hint: there's a free tool that'll blow your mind.)
Week 3: Making it official (without losing your mind) – Business structures, licenses, paperwork, oh my! We're demystifying all the "legal stuff" that sounds scarier than it actually is. Pajama pants are totally acceptable business attire during this phase.
Week 4: Show me the money (and where to find it) – Funding. Grants. Loans that don't require you to sell a kidney. Yes, they exist, and yes, there are programs specifically for women entrepreneurs.
Week 5: The "holy crap, we're really doing this" launch – You've got your plan, your paperwork, and your funding. Now what? Launch prep, marketing basics, and how to tell the world you're open for business without feeling like a total fraud.
Week 6: Growing your empire (because you're going to crush this) – Scaling up, hiring people, maybe opening that second location. This is where your side hustle becomes your main gig, or your main gig becomes your legacy.

Here at Woman of Wonder, we believe every woman deserves a shot at building something extraordinary. We provide college scholarships because education matters. But you know what else matters?
