The Pat Stephens Scholarship for a legacy of kindness and service

Honoring Pat’s legacy in SW Washington

Pat Stephens lived a life filled with purpose, creativity, and friendship. She found joy in sewing, quilting, and knitting, traveling to visit family and friends, fulfillment in writing and editing, volunteering for several nonprofits, and encouraging others in the pursuit of their dreams.

Pat's legacy lives on through Woman of Wonder's work in Southwest Washington, where her dedication to women's empowerment continues to open doors for students in Clark and Cowlitz Counties. Pat championed education for women throughout the region.

No one can remember Pat without a smile. You may remember she greeted you at our White Elephant Book Exchange and checked everyone in.

Pat died Sunday, October 5, 2025, leaving her family and friends stunned and grieving.

To honor Pat’s legacy of kindness and service, Pat’s family, along with Woman of Wonder, is establishing the Pat Stephens Scholarship Fund.
